Ordinance No. 1 of 1928.-An Ordinance to amend the Naturalization Ordi- nance, 1902, and to provide for the revocation of naturalization rights in certain cases.

No. 520. With reference to Government Notification No. 6 of the 6th January, 1927, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Dr. JOHN CECIL MACGown, M.B., Ch. B. (Edin.), to be a member of the Advisory Committee of the Peak Hospital, until further notice.

NOTICES.

COLONIAL SEcretary's Department.

No. 521.-Government Notification No. 223 of the 25th April, 1924, regarding grants by Government in the event of the death or disablement of officers of ships on the Hong Kong register by reason of piratical attacks, published in the Hong Kong Government Gazette of that date is hereby cancelled.

NOTE. The cancellation of this Government Notification is a necessary consequence of the recent alterations in the Piracy Regulations, but the Government remains ready to consider and suitably to recognise meritorious service on the part of any person in the face of piratical attacks.

No. 522.-It is hereby notified for general information that the Siamese Govern- ment has on the 15th of May, 1928, acknowledged the accession of the Colony of Hong Kong to the Treaties of Friendship and of Commerce and Navigation concluded between Great Britain and Siam in July, 1925. From the 15th May, 1928, the stipulations of the Treaty of Friendship and of Articles 2, 3 and 4 of the Commercial Treaty will accordingly apply to the Colony.

Copies of these Treaties and of Notes exchanged between the United Kingdom and Siam in connection therewith (Cd. 2642, 2643, 2644 of 1926) may be seen at the C.S.O.
