EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

Order made by the Governor in Council under section 22 of the Education Ordinance, 1913, Ordinance No. 26 of 1913, on the 9th day of August, 1928.

The Sik Yin School, opened and managed at No. 8, Bowrington Canal Road, Victoria, in this Colony, is hereby declared to be an unlawful school within the meaning of the Education Ordinance, 1913.

Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 4 of the Factory (Accidents) Ordinance, 1927, Ordinance No. 3 of 1927, on the 15th day of August, 1928.

The regulations made under the Factory (Accidents) Ordinance, 1927, on the 14th day of April, 1927, and on the same day published in the Gazette as Government Notification No. 217, are hereby amended by the addition of the following regulations:-

11. While any person employed in a factory is within the factory for the purpose of employment or meals, the doors of the factory, and of any room therein in which any such person is, must not be locked or bolted or fastened in such a manner that they cannot be easily and immediately opened from the inside. 12. In every factory the doors of each room in which more persons than ten are employed shall, except in the case of sliding doors, be constructed or altered so as to open outwards. In case of alteration of doors to comply with this regulation the work shall as soon as possible be carried out by and at the expense of the proprietor of the business carried on in the factory.
