The rainfall for the month of March at the Botanical Gardens was 6ins. 68 on 12 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 7ins. 88 on 9 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 4ins. 81 on 9 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 682 at 17h on the 21st.
The maximum squall velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 51 miles per hour at 20h. 10m. on the 23rd.
