THE MAGISTRACY.
No. 230. It is hereby notified by command of His Excellency the Governor that an election by the Justices of the Peace of a Justice of the Peace to serve on the Legislative Council, vice the Honourable Sir HENRY EDWARD POLLOCK, Kt., K.C., from the 28th April, 1928, during the absence of the Honourable Sir JOSEPHI HORSFORD KEMP, Kt., K.C., C.B.E., Attorney General, will take place at the office of the Registrar, Supreme Court, on Monday, the 7th day of May, 1928, commencing at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
The ballot-box will be closed at 5.30 p.m.
Justices of the Peace who are Government Officials are not entitled to take part in these proceedings.
Every candidate must be nominated in writing by one Justice and seconded by another and the nomination delivered to the undersigned not later than Thursday, 3rd May, 1928.
Forms may be obtained at the Magistracy.
