The rainfall for the month of February at the Botanical Gardens was 3ins. 87 on 11 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 4ins. 05 on 9 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 2in. 18 on 7 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 879 at 17h on the 5th.
The maximum squall velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 42 miles per hour at 22h. 30m. on the 11th.
