No. 45.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve of the promo- tion of Second-Lieutenant ROBERT SPIERS LOGAN to the rank of Lieutenant in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from the 20th January, 1928.

No. 46. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to make the following promotions in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 22nd January, 1928:-

Lieutenant THOMAS ADDIS MARTIN, to be Captain.

Second Lieutenant CHARLES PEAKE ANDERSON, M.C., to be Lieutenant.
