EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

No. 30.-His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct under section 7 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, that the name of Mr. JAMES SMITH GIBSON be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notification No. 408 of the 10th July, 1925.

APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 31.-The King's Exequatur empowering Monsieur EDUARDO GALLARDO A to act as Consul for Chile in Hong Kong has received His Majesty's signature.

No. 32.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Corporal HENRY RUSSELL FORSYTH to be Second Lieutenant in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 14th January, 1928.

No. 33. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 2 of the German Missions Trustees Ordinance, 1923, Ordinance No. 9 of 1923, the Rev. JAMES HORACE JOHNSTON to be one of the German Missions Trustees.

20th January, 1928.

No. 34.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 2 of the German Missions Trustees Ordinance, 1923, Ordinance No. 9 of 1923, the Rev. CHARLES BRODIE SHANN to be one of the German Missions Trustees, in succession to the Rev. ARTHUR DUDLEY STEWART, resigned.

No. 35.-Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased to re-appoint Captain JAMES CHARNOCK, Army Educational Corps, to be a Member of the Board of Education for a further period of two years, with effect from the 15th of January, 1928.
