The rainfall for the month of December at the Botanical Gardens was 2ins. 27 on 6 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was lin. 90 on 5 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was in. 20 on 2 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 883 at 16h on the 27th. The maximum squall velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 38 miles per hour at 9h. 35m. on the 13th.
