No. 973. It is hereby notified that the Opium Farmer has, under the provisions of Section 12 (d) of the Prepared Opium Ordinance, 1891, as amended by the Prepared Opium Amendment Ordinance, 1906, (Ordinance No. 15 of 1906), established his premises at Nos. 36, 38 and 40 Bonham Strand West as a bonded warehouse for the use of dealers in Morphine and Compounds of Opium imported for exportation and not for use or sale in the Colony.

No. 974.-Notice is hereby given that MEE CHEUNG, Photographer, Ice House Street, Victoria, Hongkong, has on the 12th day of November, 1906, applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Proprietors of Copyright in Paintings, Drawings and Photo- graphs of Four Photographs of a group containing portrait of His Excellency Viceroy CHOW-F of Canton; Three Photographs of the landing of His Excellency Viceroy CHOW-FU at Blake Pier, Victoria, Hongkong; in the name of MEE CHEUNG, Photographer, who claims to be the proprietor thereof. A facsimile of the said Four Photographs of a group containing portrait of His Excellency Viceroy CHow-FU of Canton and Three Photographs of the landing of His Excellency Viceroy Cпow-FI at Blake Pier, Victoria, Hongkong, can be seen at the Office of the Registrar General of Hongkong.

No. 975.-Information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:-

On Saturday, the 17th November :-

From Saiwan, in an Easterly direction, at ranges up to 10,000 yards, com-

mencing at 10 a.m., and finishing at 12 Noon.

On Tuesday, the 20th November:—

From Lyemun S. Dt., towards Entrance to Junk Bay, at ranges up to 6,000-

yards, commencing at 7 p.m., and finishing at 9.30 p.m.

On Thursday, the 22nd November:---

From Devils Peak, towards Waglan, at ranges up to 14,000 yards, com-

mencing at 10 a.m., and finishing at 2 p.m.

On Friday, the 23rd November:—

From Lyemun S. Dt., towards Entrance to Junk Bay, at ranges up to 6,000-

yards, commencing at 3 p.m., and finishing at 3 p.m.

On Monday, the 26th November :----

From Devils Peak, towards Waglan, at ranges up to 10,000 yards, commencing -

at 10 a.m., and finishing at 1 p.m.
