No. 916.-It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor will hold a Levee at Government House on His Majesty's Birthday, Friday, the 9th of November, 1906, at 10 p.m.

Each gentleman attending is requested to bring with him two cards with his name distinctly written thereon to be handed to the Aide-de-Camp in waiting.

The Judges, Members of the Executive and Legislative Councils, Heads of Government Departments, Naval and Military Officers of or above the rank of Commander and Lieut.- Colonel respectively, Naval and Military Staff Officers, Consuls General and Consuls are invited to be in the Levee room at 9.45.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 917.--In continuation of Notification No. 861 of 1906, it is hereby notified that au Examination of the Royal Sanitary Institute of Great Britain in "Practical Hygiene for School Teachers" will be held by the Board of Examiners at the Sanitary Institute Room, No. 9 Beaconsfield Arcade, on the following dates :-

Written Examination: Part I.---Monday, December 3rd, 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Written Examination: Part II.--Monday, December 3rd, 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Vicâ voce Examination (both Parts):- Wednesday, December 5th, at 10 a.m. Applications on printed forms, which may be obtained from the Local Secretary, Mr. E. RALPHS, Queen's College, should be sent in not later than Friday, November 30th.

The Fee for each Part of the Examination is $10, and these fees will, in the case of candidates who are employed in Government or Grant-in-aid Schools, be refunded to them by the Government.

It is hereby notified that Mr. GUSTAV BOEHM of Offenbach-on-main, Germany, Perfumer, has complied with the requirements of Ordinance 6 of 1898, for the registration in this Colony of his Mark No. 213 of 1906, as applied to Perfumery, toilet soap and powder, in Class 48; and that the same has been duly registered.

No. 919.-It is hereby notified that Mr. GUSTAV BOEHM of Offenbach-on-main. Germany, Perfumer, has complied with the requirements of Ordinance 6 of 1898, for the registration in this Colony of his Mark No. 214 of 1906, as applied to Perfumery, toilet soap and powder, in Class 48; and that the same has been duly registered.
