GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.--No. 853.

It is hereby notified that His Majesty the KING has not been advised to exercise his power of disallowance with respect to the following Ordinances :--

Ordinance No. 8 of 1905, entitled-An Ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding Five million seven hundred and seventeen thousand two hundred and seventy-six Dollars to the Public Service of the year 1906.

Ordinance No. 11 of 1905, entitled---An Ordinance for raising the sum of Two Million Pounds by Loan for the purpose of defraying the cost of a Railway from Kowloon and for other Railway pur-

poses.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.—No. 854.

It is hereby notified that the Crown will under section 13 of The New Territories Land Ordin- ance, 1905, re-enter upon any land in the New Territories held from the Crown in the name of any clan, family or t'ong who have not made and proved to the Land Officer the appointment of a manager or managers of such land in the manner prescribed, and within the time limited by the provisions of that Ordinance, namely, in the case of land acquired before the 1st day of August, 1905,, within three months from that date, or, in the case of land acquired on or after the 1st day of August, 1905, then within three months after the acquisition of such land. Upon such re-entry the land entered upon becomes forfeited to the Crown.
