COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 311. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should. be clearly marked "Tenders for the carriage of coal", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Thursday, the 13th day of December, 1917, for the delivery of coal during the year 1918.
For schedule of particulars application should be made to the Colonial Secretary's Office.
A deposit of $50 must accompany each tender as guarantee of the bonâ fides of the offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if the tenderer refuses to carry out his tender.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
