Tienshengkang--River Bank Protection Works.

CAUTION.

REFERRING to Notice to Mariners No. 627, notice is hereby given that it has become necessary to again draw the attention of mariners to the river bank protection works on the left bank of the Yangtze River from Tienshengkang towards North Tree Beacon,

These works are spur-dikes, built of stone. They are submerged and project up to 600 feet into the river,

Mariners are therefore cautioned against navigating their vessels too close to the river bank in this locality.
