fourth and final dividend of $6.50 per cent. has been declared in the above matter.

[OTICE is hereby given that the above mentioned dividend may be received at the Official Receiver's Office, Victoria, aforesaid, on Friday, the 21st day of September, 1917, between the hours of 10 am. and 4 p.m. and on any subsequent day during office hours.

Creditors applying for payment must produce any bills of exchange or other securities held by them and must sign a receipt in the pre- scribed for.

OTICE is hereby given that a Petition was on the 5th day of September, 1917. pre- sented to the Supreme Court of Hongkong by the above named Company to confirm an alteration of the said Company's objects proposed to be effected by a Special Resolution of the Company unanimously passed at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the said Company held on the 19th day of July, 1917, and subsequently unani- mously continued at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the said Company hold on the 18th day of August, 1917, and which Resolution runs as follows:

Memorandum of Association with 'respect to its objects be altered so as to read as shown in the print “signed for the purpose of identifica- “tion by the Chairman of this Meet- **ing.**

AND NOTICE is further given that the said Petition is directed to be heard before His Honour Sir WILLIAM REES-DAVIES, the Chie! Justice, on Wednesday the 24th day of October, 1917, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon and any person interested in the said Company whether Creditor, Policy Holder, or otherwise, desirous to oppose the making of an Order for the confirmation of the said alteration under the above Ordinances should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his Counsel, for the purpose, and a copy of the said Petition will be furnished to any such person requiring the same by the undersigned, the Company's Solicitors, on payment of the regulated charge for the sante.

T an extraordinary meeting of the Share- holders of the above Company held at No. 4, Des Voeux Road Central, Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, (the registered office of the Company), on the 17th day of August, 1917, the undermentioned special resolutions were duly passed and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the said Company also duly convened and held at the same place on the 1st day of September, 1917, the same were duly confirined:

1. That the Hongkong and Kowloon Garage, Limited, is unable to carry on the business and that the Company he wound up voluntarily.

2. That Tam Pak Shiu of Victoria afore- said be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the said Hongkong and Kowloon Garage, Limited.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-
