It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Winter Uniform for Boarding Officers, Boatmen and Seamen of Harbour Department", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 21st September, 1917, for the supply of the above mentioned uniform for this department.

Samples of Uniform may be seen, and form of tender obtained, at this office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

Confucius Channel--Alterations in Buoyage.

REFERRING to Special Notice to Mariners No. 489, notice is hereby given that in consequence of the shoal that has been located at the north-western entrance to the Confucius Channel, Yangtze River, the following alterations in boyage have been made:-

The Centaur Lower Buoy has been moved and is now moored in 40 feet of water on the southern side of the channel, its characteristics remaining unchanged. From the Buoy, Mason Point Beacon bears N. distant 5.84 miles.
