No. S. 175. It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the Police Station, Au Tau, at 12 Noon, on Thursday, the 9th day of August, 1917.

The Lot is sold for the term of Twenty-one years from the date of Sale as an Öyster bed Lot subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification. No. 365 of 1906 and to the Special Conditions hereunder specified.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS.

CONDIT

1. The Lot is to be used solely for the purpose of rearing and breeding oysters and for no other purpose whatever.

2. The Purchaser shall be entitled to and shall execute on demand a Lease from the Crown of the ground comprised in the Lot sold. Such Crown Lease shall be in the form produced at the time of sale and signed by the Land Officer.

3. The Purchaser shall within three days of the date of sale pay to the Land Officer for and on behalf of His Majesty the King, the proportionate amount of Annual Rent for the year.

4. The Purchaser shall if required before executing the Crown Lease provide security in the sum of Two hundred dollars to the satisfaction of the Governor for the proper per- formance by him of the Covenants and Conditions of the Crown Lease.

5. The Purchaser shall not interfere with the navigation of the river nor receive compensation for any damage done to the bed through such navigation.

No. S. 176. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Repairs to No. 4 Police Launch", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 3rd day of August, 1917.

Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
