HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT, -
No. 882.-Information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:-
On Monday, the 22nd October:--
From Stonecutters, in a Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards,
commencing at 6 a.m., and finishing at 9 a.m.
On Tuesday, the 23rd October :--
From Belcher F. C., in a North-Westerly direction, at ranges up to 11,000
yards, commencing at 9.30 a.m., and finishing at 12 noon.
On Thursday, the 25th October:--
From Belcher F. C., in a North-Westerly direction, at ranges up to 11,000
yards, commencing at 9.30 a.m., and finishing at 12 noon.
On Saturday, the 27th October:---
From Stonecutters, in a Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards,
commencing at 2.30 p.m., and finishing at 6 p.m.
On Tuesday, the 30th October:-
From Stonecutters, in a Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards, com-
mencing at 7.30 p.m., and finishing at 9.45 p.m.
On Saturday, the 3rd November :—
From Boa Vista, in a Southerly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards, com-
mencing at 10 a.m., and finishing at 12 noon.
On Tuesday, the 6th November :—
From Devils Peak, in an Easterly direction, at ranges up to 10,000 yards, com-
mencing at 3 p.m., and finishing at 5 p.m.
On Wednesday, the 7th November :-
From Boa Vista, in a Southerly direction, at ranges up to 9,000 yards, com-
mencing at 10 a.m., and finishing at 12 noon.
On Tuesday, the 13th November:-
From Lyemun S. Dt., in an Easterly direction, at ranges up to 10,000 yards,
commencing at 3 p.m., and finishing at 5 p.m.
From Lyemun S. Dt., in an Easterly direction, at ranges up to 8,000 yards,
commencing at 7.30 p.m., and finishing at 9.45 p.m.
On Friday, the 16th November:-
From Stonecutters, in a Westerly direction, at ranges up to 10,000 yards,
commencing at 10 a.m., and finishing at 12.30 p.m.
If the weather is unfavourable on any of the above dates, practice will take place on the following day.
All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.
