NOTICE is hereby given that AITKEN, - MELROSE & CO., LIMITED, of 9, Forth Street, Edinburgh, Scotland; Wholesale Tea Dealers and General Merchants, have on the 8th day of February, 1917, applied for the registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:

applied for the registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:----

in the name of AITKEN, MELROSE & Co., Ltd., who claim to be the Proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark has been used by the Ap- plicants in respect of Tea since 1889, and in respect of Coffee since 1907; and the said Trade Mark is intended to be used by the Applicants forthwith in respect of Cocoa, all in Class 42.

The above mentioned Trade Mark is to be associated with Trade Mark No. 17 of 1917. Dated the 16th day of February, 1917.

BROS., LTD., of Port Sunlight, England, Soap Manufacturers, have on the 14th day of March, 1917, applied for the registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:

SUNLIGHT SOAP

"Why does a woman look old sooner than

a man?

with, in smaller type, instructions as to the method of using "Sunlight" Soap for washing clothes, etc.

in the name of Messrs. LEVER BROS., LTD., who claim to be the proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark is intended to be used by the Applicants in respect of: -

Perfumery, (including Toilet articles, pre- parations for the Teeth and Hair, and perfumed Soap), in Class 48.

This Mark is associated with marks Nos. 8B of 1889, 30в and 35в of 1899.

the Office of the Registrar of Trade Marks, Hongkong, also at the office of the undersigned.
