All junks, ships, and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.

The Astronomical positions are only approximate unless seconds are given. The bearings are given both True and Magnetic, and those relating to lights are from seaward. The risibility of lights is that in clear weather. Fog signals are sounded only in thick or foggy weather. The heights given are heights of focal plane above high water.

Spencer Gulf.
Tipara Reef Light-Red Sectors to be inserted.
MARINERS and others are hereby notified that the Flashing White Light on Tipara Reef will be altered to Flashing White and Red Sectors on or about 14th May, 1917.
Position.--Latitude 34° 04' S.; Longitude, 137° 24' E.
Sectors. Shows White from 341, (N. 23° W. Mag.) through North-East and South to 223° (S. 381 W. Mag.), Red from 223° (S. 385° W. Mag.) to 245° (S. 61° W. Mag.), White from 2454° (S. 61° W. Mag.) through West to 318 (N. 46° W. Mag.), Red from 3181° (N. 46° W. Mag.) to 341 (N. 23° W. Mag.).
Note. The other details of the Light will remain unchanged. Remarks. No further notice will be given.
