NOTICES TO MARINERS.
STRICTEST quarantine has been adopted by the Government of Siam against Hong- kong on account of Small-pox.
Vessels must complete fourteen days from Hongkong and compulsory vaccination will be applied to those who cannot produce proof of recent vaccination.

THE following notification has been received from the Government of Indo-China :-
By a recent order of the Governor-General of Indo-China, passengers proceed- ing from Hongkong bound for Indo-China are not permitted to land unless they produce a certificate of vaccination duly certified by the Consul for France at Hongkong, dating less than a year after having submitted to re-vaccination against small-pox.
The same order prohibits the importation into Indo-China of clothing, used
bedding, second-hand furniture, light dress materials and drill cloths.
