NOTICES.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 17. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tenders for Cabinets", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 27th January, 1917.

Full particulars will be supplied on application to the Colonial Secretary's Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

A deposit of $50 must accompany each tender as guarantee of the bona fides of the offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if the tenderer refuses to carry out his tender.

Quarantine restrictions against all ships arriving at Dairen or Port Arthur from or by way of Canton and all other South-China ports.

Bangkok. Hongkong declared a suspected port on account of small-pox. All vessels leaving Hongkong for Bangkok after 13th December, 1916, should call at Kohphra to be examined.
