THE TRADE MARKS ORDINANCE, 1898.

Application for Registration of Trade Mark.

NOTICE is hereby given that the CHAN

TIN CHONG of the Praya in the Portu- guese Colony of Macao have on the 13th day of August, 1906, applied for the registration, in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark, viz. :—

A design depicting on either side a phoenix looking towards the sun and above in Chinese characters and in English the name Chan Tin Chong (*) and at the top the Chinese characters(雙鳳朝陽)

meaning “two phoenixes looking to- wards the sun

in the name of the said CHAN TIN CHONG who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark has been used by the Applicants in respect of the following goods, in the following class, viz. :~

Joss Sticks, Class 50 (10).

A facsimile of such Trade Mark can be seen at the office of the Colonial Secretary of Hong- kong, and at the office of the undersigned.
