An Ordinance to amend the Importation and

Exportation Ordinance, 1915.

[28th December, 1917.]

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Importation and Exportation Ordinance, 1917, and shall be read and construed as one with the Importation and Exportation Ordinance, 1915, hereinafter called the principal Ordi- nance, and the said Ordinance and this Ordinance may be cited together as the Importation and Exportation Ordinances, 1915 and 1917.

2.--(1.) Paragraph (d) of section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended as follows:-

(a) by inserting the words

the second line thereof.

(2.) Paragraph (e) of section 2 of the principal Ordi-

nance is amended as follows :--

3. Sub-section (1) of section 12 of the principal Ordi- nance is amended by the substitution of the word
