LIQUORS BILL.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled An Ordinance to amend the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911.
The Colonial Secretary addressed the Council and seconded.
Mr. DODWELL, Mr. POLLOCK, Mr. SHEWAN, and His Excellency the Governor then addressed the Council.

On the motion of the Attorney General, the words ", to the knowledge of such person,
were inserted after the word "is" in the first line of section 5.

On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee with one amendment and moved that it be read a third time.

DEPORTATION BILL.The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled An Ordinance to consolidate and amend the law relating to the deportation of undesirable persons.

Council in Committee on the Bill.
On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee without amendment and moved that it be read a third time.

ADJOURNMENT. --The Council then adjourned until Tuesday, the 23rd day of October, 1917.
