The rainfall for the month of September at the Botanical Gardens was 511 on 14 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 5ins.29 on 14 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 4ins. 82 on 11 days.

SUPREME COURT.
No. 460.-It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to Section 5. of the Criminal Procedure Ordinances, 1899-1913, His Honour the Chief Justice has ordered that the next Criminal Sessions for the despatch of the business of the Court shall be held on Monday, the 22nd day of October, 1917, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon.
