EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.
No. 376.
Amendment of the Statutes of the University of Hongkong made by the Court of the University on the 7th day of May, 1917, under Section 14 of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, and allowed by the Governor in Conneil on the 16th day of August, 1917.
1. Paragraph 1 of Statute 7 of the Statutes of the University of Hongkong contained in the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, as amended by the Court of the University on the 10th day of December, 1915, and published in the Gazette on the 24th day of December, 1915, as Government Notification No. 556, is hereby amended by the repeal of Class 3 and the substitution therefor of the following:
"Class 3. One member of each Faculty (being also a member of the Senate) elected by the Senate and approved by the Council and one other member of the Senate elected by the Senate and approved by the Council."
2. Paragraph 3 of the said Statute 7 is hereby amended by the repeal of the said. paragraph and the substitution therefor of the following:--
"3. Each member in class 3 shall, save as hereafter provided, hold office for two years. Retiring members shall be eligible for re-election. A member of class 3 shall ipso facto cease to be a member of the Council if he cease to be a member of the Senate.”

Regulation made by the Governor in Council under the provisions of Section 3 of the Tobacco Ordinance, 1916, (Ordinance No. 10 of 1916), this 23rd day of August, 1917.
The Regulations made by the Governor in Council on the 21st day of September, 1916, with reference to the Refund of Duty on exported tobacco published in the Gazette of the 22nd day of September, 1916, as Government Notification No. 414 shall be rescinded as from the 1st day of October, 1917.

Order made by the Governor in Council under Sections 4 and 5 of the Tobacco Ordinance, 1916, (Ordinance No. 10 of 1916), this 23rd day of August, 1917.
The annual fee for a Licensed Warehouse Licence shall be $75 in lieu of $250 as prescribed by the Third Schedule to the said Ordinance.
