EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

No. 323.

Amendment of the Conditions of Licence to store Calcium Carbide made by the Governor in Council under Section 10 of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance, 1873, (Ordi- nance No. 1 of 1873), this 19th day of July, 1917.

Condition No. 3 of the Conditions of Licence to store Calcium Carbide published on page 338 of the Regulations of Hongkong, 1914, is hereby amended by the substitution of the figure "300" for the figure "100" in the second line thereof.

No. 324.

Regulation made by the Governor in Council under Section 6 of the Dogs Ordinance, 1893, (Ordinance No. 5 of 1893), this 19th day of July, 1917.

No dogs brought from Canton will be permitted to land in this Colony for a period of six months from this date.

No. 325.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mrs. DAISY ANNABELLA MURDOCH GALE, M.B., B.S., to act as Secretary to the Sanitary Board until further notice, with effect from the 18th July, 1917.

No. 323. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the Honourable Mr. CHARLES MOILVAINE MESSER to act as Colonial Treasurer, in addition to his other duties, with effect from the 18th July, 1917, and until further notice.

20th July, 1917.

No. 327. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint the Honourable Mr. EDWARD DUDLEY CORSCADEN WOLFE to be First Police Magistrate and Mr. STEWART BUCKLE CARNE Ross to be Postmaster General, with effect from the 1st February, 1917.
