No. 307. The following addition to the lists of firms which are being wound up under the Trading with the Enemy Amendment Act, 1916, is published for general infor- mation. The previous lists appeared in the Gazettes of the 20th April, 5th, 19th, and 26th May, 9th, 23rd, and 30th June, 7th and 28th July, 4th, 11th, and 25th August, 15th, 22nd, and 29th September, 6th, 20th and 27th October, 17th November, 15th and 29th December, 1916, 12th, 19th, and 26th January, 16th and 23rd February, 2nd and 30th March, 27th April, 4th and 11th May, and 8th and 29th June, 1917.
TRADING WITH THE ENEMY AMENDMENT Act, 1916.
An order has been made by the Board of Trade requiring the undermentioned busi- ness to be wound up :

The revised lists of persons to whom articles to be exported to China and Siam may be consigned, which were published as Notification No. 28, and amended by Notifications No. 29, No. 40, No. 53, No. 66, No. 113, No. 133, No. 200, No. 241, No. 273, and No. 287, published in the Gazettes of January 26th, February 9th, 16th, and 23rd, March 23rd, and 30th, May 4th, and 25th, and June 8th and 22nd, 1917, respectively, are hereby further amended as follows:-

TREASURY.
No. 309.-It is hereby notified for the information of Owners and Occupiers of tenements that, under the provisions of the Rating Ordinance, 1901, (Ordinance No. 6 of 1901), and the Rating (Special War Rate) Ordinance, 1917, (Ordinance No. 18 of 1917), Rates for the Third Quarter of 1917, including the Special War Rate of 7%, are payable in advance on or before the 31st July, 1917.
If any person shall fail to pay such Rates on or before the 31st August, 1917, pro- ceedings will be taken in the Supreme Court for their recovery without further notice.
No refund of Rates in respect of vacant tenements will be granted unless such Rates have been paid during and within the month of July, nor unless application is made. for such refund within fifteen days from the expiration of the quarter.
