No. 298. With reference to Government Notification No. 203 dated the 12th May, 1916, it is hereby notified in accordance with the provisions of Section 34 of the Opium Ordinance, 1914, that the importation into Mexico of prepared opium or opium dross is limited to a quantity not exceeding five kilogrammes at a time, provided that permission has previously been obtained from the Municipal Board of Health.
No. 299. It is hereby notified, with reference to Government Notification No. 542 of the 15th December, 1916, that the Commodore has appointed Lieutenant ARTHUR RONALD PITTIS MARTIN, R.N.R., to be Officer in charge of the Examination Service, vice Lieutenant-Commander GODFREY CECIL ECHLIN, R.N., (Retired), with effect from the 23rd June, 1917.
