EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

No. 284. It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor in Council has, under Section 7 of the Holidays Ordinance, 1912, (Ordinance No. 5 of 1912), appointed Monday, the 2nd day of July, 1917, to be observed as a General Holiday.

Regulations made by the Governor in Council under Section 3 of the Licensing Ordi- nance, 1887, (Ordinance No. 8 of 18S7), on the 21st day of June, 1917.

1. The Form of a Hawker's Licence given and published on page 346 of the Regula- tions of Hongkong, 1914, is hereby rescinded and the following form is substituted therefor:

is hereby licensed to hawk till the 30th September, 19, inclusive.

Note.-Hawker's Annual Licences expire on the 30th September in each year by order of the Governor in Council under Section 3 of Ordinance 8 of 1887.

Note that a receipt by the Captain Superintendent of Police for the fee is affixed

here.

2. The Condition No. 12 of the Conditions of a Hawker's Licence published on page 356 of the Regulations of Hongkong, 1914, is hereby rescinded and the following condi- tion is substituted therefor

12. The annual fee for a Hawker's Licence is $4 payable to the Captain Super- intendent of Police on the date on which the Licence is granted, provided that where any Licence is granted on or after the 1st day of April in any year the fee for such Licence shall be $2 only. Every Licence shall expire on the 30th day of September following the date when it was granted.
