No. 220. It is hereby notified that the following society has been exempted by the Governor in Council from registration under the Societies Ordinance, 1911, (Ordi- nance No. 47 of 1911), and its name is hereby added to the List of Exempted Societies, published in Government Notification No. 185 of 1917, under the following heading :-

Order made by the Governor in Council under Section 5 (a) of the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1916, Ordinance No. 6 of 1916, this 17th day of May, 1917.
The First Schedule to the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1916, is hereby repealed and the following schedule is substituted therefor :-
First Schedule.
(1.) Members of His Majesty's Regular Naval or Military forces.
(2.) Consular Officers of Foreign States.

(3.) The wives and daughters of persons included in the two classes specified
above so long as such persons are resident in the Colony.
(4.) Persons of Chinese Race.
(5.) Persons not exceeding 18 years of age.
• NOTE. -Any person who has already registered prior to the making of this order will not be required
to re-register.

Order made by the Governor in Council under Sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Trading with the Enemy (Extension of Powers) Ordinance, 1916, Ordinance No. 4 of 1916, on the 17th day of May, 1917.
The list which was published in the Gazette of the 21st July, 1916, of persons and bodies of persons, incorporated or unincorporated, with whom trading is prohibited by the Trading with the Enemy (Statutory List) Proclamation, Hongkong, 1916, No. 3, and which was amended by the lists published in the Gazettes of the 4th, 18th and 25th August, 1st, 15th and 22nd September, 6th, 20th and 27th October, 17th November, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th December, 1916, 5th, 19th and 26th January, 2nd and 23rd February, 2nd and 16th March, 5th, 20th and 27th April, and 4th and 11th May, 1917, is hereby further amended as follows:
