No. 207.

Order made by the Governor in Council under Sections 3 and 4 of the Importation and Exportation Ordinance, 1915, Ordinance No. 32 of 1915, on the 10th day of May,

1917.

1. Rule 36 of the rules made by the Governor in Council under the above Ordinance is repealed and the following is substituted therefor :----

Exportation

of certain articles to Switzerland.

36. No person shall export or attempt to export to Switzerland any article specified in the schedule contained on pages 2492 to 2499, both inclusive, of the London Gazette of the 13th March, 1917.

II. The Fifth Schedule to the said rules is repealed.

NOTE 1.-The rules made under the above Ordinance were published in the following numbers of the Gazette:-

14th January, 1916.

21st January, 1916.

7th April, 1916.

5th May, 1916.

16th June, 1916.

NOTE 2.-Rule 36 and the Fifth Schedule, now repealed, were published in the Hongkong Gazette of the 7th April, 1916.

NOTE 3. The new Rule 36, now made, must be read as supplementary to Rule 41 (Military Stores), which was published in the Hongkong Gazette of the 18th August, 1916, and to the various amendments of the schedule to that rule, which have been published in the following numbers of the

Gazette :-

Order made by the Governor in Council under Sections 3 and 4 of the Importation and Exportation Ordinance, 1915, (Ordinance No. 32 of 1915), on the 10th day of May, 1917.

The Schedule to Rule 41 of the rules made by the Governor in Council under the above Ordinance, which were published in the Gazettes of the 7th, 14th and 21st January, the 7th April, the 5th May, the 16th and 23rd June, the 28th July, the 18th and 25th August, the 1st, 22nd, and 29th September, the 13th, 20th, and 27th (2) October, the 17th November, and the 1st, 8th, and 15th December, 1916, the 19th January, the 2nd and 30th March, and the 27th April, 1917, respectively, is hereby amended as follows:--

(1) The following headings are deleted :-

(B) Binder twine (except binder twine made of

Manila hemp);

Chemicals, drugs, etc:--

(c) Sodium cyanide and mixtures containing

sodium cyanide ;

(B) Sodium prussiate and mixtures containing

sodium prussiate;
