The rainfall for the month of April at the Botanical Gardens was 593 on 18 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 5ins 79 on 18 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was Sins 64 on 22 days. The mean wind velocity was the lowest on record.
