The revised lists of persons to whom articles to be exported to China and Siam may be consigned, which were published as Notification No. 28, and amended by Notifications No. 29, No. 40, No. 53, No. 66, and No. 113, published in the Gazettes of January 26th, February 9th, 16th, and 23rd, and March 23rd, 1917, respectively, are hereby further amended as follows:-

No. 135. The Treasurer's attention has been directed to the fact that the provi- sions of the Stamp Ordinance, 1901, as to affixing and cancelling stamps on receipts for money are evaded by many residents and that Honorary Officials of local Societies are habitual offenders. This notice is therefore issued so that parties concerned may take warning and they are reminded that a penalty of $100 for non-compliance may be inflicted in each case.
