No. 87. It is hereby notified that it is the intention of His Excellency the Governor to make an order on the expiration of 6 months from the date hereof directing the removal of all graves from those portions of Kai Lung Wan Cemetery and Kai Lung Wan Extension Cemetery as lie within the areas edged red on a plan dated the 28th November, 1916, which may be seen during office hours at the Offices of the Sanitary Department, New Government Offices, Pedder Street. Such order will be made for a public purpose, namely the adjustment of the boundaries of Kai Lung Wan Cemetery.

Government Notification No. 461 dated the 25th October, 1916, and published in the Gazette on the 27th October, 1916, is hereby cancelled.

The rainfall for the month of February at the Botanical Gardens was Oins ·49 on 8 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 0.91 on 8 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 0ins. 95 on 10 days.
