No. 73. His Majesty the King has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Mr. CHARLES EDWARD ANTON to be an Un-official Member of the Legisla- tive Council during the absence on leave of the Honourable Mr. DAVID LANDALE.

No. 74. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. CHARLES EDWARD ANTON and to re-appoint Mr. HERBERT WILLIAM BIRD to be Members of the Authorised Architects' Committee.

No. 75. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Staff-Sergeants Walter JosepH HILL, THOMAS HENRY MATTHEWMAN, and GEORGE EDMUND MARLEY to the temporary rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Engineer Company of the Hongkong Volunteer Corps, with effect from the 27th February, 1917.
