Application for Registration of Trade Mark.
OTICE is hereby given that LAI CHUN AND COMPANY of No. 122 Wellington Street Victoria Hongkong Cigarette Manu- facturers have on the 29th day of May 1906 applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Marks :-
1. A device showing a Sea Fairy holding three golden cash tied with a ribbon overhead und dancing. On the ground are strewn four golden cash. Behind : the Sea Fairy is a City wall.
2. A device showing a Son Fairy holding
three golden cash tied to a ribbo overhead in the act of dancing. By the Fairy's right, on the floor is a golden cash standing upright, while two golden cash standing upright are on the left side of the Fairy. The whole device is within a flowery bor- der. 3. A distinctive device showing a man sitting on a chair by a table with bis left arm resting on it holding with his right hand a lighted cigarette in the act of putting. A box and two tins purporting to contain cigars and cigaretics are on the table.
The nan
appears to be sitting within a cur- tained space and on the background. a steamer could be seen.
1. A label containing a tobacco plant in blossom upon a gilt background,
in the name of LAT CHUN AND COMPANY who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.
The Trade Marks are intended to be used by the applicants forthwith iu respect of the following goods :-
Cigarettes, in Class 45.
Facsimiles of the Trade Marks can be seen at the Office of the Colonial Secretary of Hongkong.
