THE COMPANIES ORDINANCE, 1865.

No. 720.--The attention of Companies registered under "The Companies Ordinance- 1865" (No. 1 of 1865) is called to the inconvenience which is caused to the Public, and to- the Liquidators in the case of the winding up of a Company, through the insufficiency of address of persons holding Shares in Companies given in the Annual Return (Form E) forwarded to the undersigned; and the Managers, Secretaries or other Officers of Companies whose duty it is to furnish such Returns are requested to be good enough in future to give the full address of each Shareholder.

No. 721-Tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 1st September, 1906, for making new and clearing old Fire Barriers.

For Form of tender apply at the Colonial Secretary's Office.

For specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $20 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person shall refuse to carry out his tender should the tender be accepted.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
