Ordinance No. 2 of 1906, entitled-An Ordinance further to amend the Magistrates
Ordinance, 1890.
Ordinance No. 3 of 1906, entitled--An Ordinance relating to the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court with respect to the care and commitment of the custody of the persons and estates of Lunatics.
Ordinance No. 4 of 1906, entitled-An Ordinance to authorize the Appropriation of
a Supplementary Sum of Two hundred and seventy-eight thousand four hundred and twelve Dollars and eight Cents, to defray the Charges of the Year 1995.

No. 713.-It is hereby notified that an examination, open to all qualified natural-born British subjects, for appointment in the Civil Service of India or for Eastern Cadetships in the Colonial Service or for Clerkships in the Home Civil Service, will take place in London in the month of August, 1907, and that copies of the Regulations, syllabus of Examination and forms of application to be filled up by the Candidates may be obtained at this office.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.
No. 714. It is hereby notified for the information of the medical men resident in the Colony that the Bacteriologist will commence, on September 1st, 1906, a six months course of lectures and laboratory instruction in Chemistry, Bacteriology and the Pathology of the Diseases of Animals transmissible to man, such as is required by the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom in connection with the examinations for Diplomas in Public Health. Further particulars may be obtained at the Bacteriological Institute, Taipingshan.

No 715.--It is hereby notified that Messrs. Ho SAU HING AND HO CHI KAI, both of No. 121, Queen's Road Central, Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong, Tobacconists, have complied with the requirements of Ordinance 6 of 1898, for the registration in this Colony of their Mark No. 184 of 1906, as applied to Manufactured cigarettes, in Class 45; and that the same has been duly registered.
