Regulation made by the Governor in Council, this 26th day of July, 1906, under Section 3 of the Public Holidays Ordinance, 1875, (Ordinance No. 2 of 1875).
The Police Magistrates' Department shall be, and the same is hereby excluded from the operation of the above recited Ordinance on Monday, the 6th day of August, 1906.

Regulation made by the Governor in Council, this 20th day of
July, 1906, under Section 40 of the New Territories Land Ordinance, 1905, (Ordinance No. 3 of 1905).
Upon the issue of any Writ of Summons by a Landlord against a tenant for the reco- very of rent a fee of $1 shall be paid to the Assistant Land Officer and shall be recoverable by the landlord as costs in the action.

Regulations made by the Governor in Council, this 26th day of July, 1906, under Section 5 of The Asylums
Ordinance, 1906, (Orlinance No. 6 of 1906). "
1. The Medical Practitioner in charge shall see every patient in the Asylums not less than once daily, and shall be responsible for the care and treatment of such patients and for the maintenance of discipline and good order generally, and he shall report all breaches of discipline to the Superintendent of the Asylums.
2. No friends shall be allowed to visit any patient or attendant in the Asylums with- out the written permission of the Medical Practitioner in charge, or in his absence of the Medical Officer on duty at the Civil Hospital.
3. Patients shall be allowed to write letters to relatives, friends and others. Such letters shall be inspected by the Medical Practitioner in charge, and if free from objectionable matter shall be forwarded to their destination.
4. A list of Visitors appointed by the Governor shall be posted in a conspicuous position in the Hall, together with a copy of section 6 of The Asylums Ordinance, 1906.
