Nature of Measures.

Quarantine restrictions against all ships arriving at Dairen or Port Arthur from or by way of Canton and all other South-China ports.

Hongkong declared a suspected port on account of small-pox. All vessels leaving Hongkong for Bangkok after 13th December, 1916, should call at Kohphra to be examine l.

No. S. 315.-It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.:-

On Wednesday, the 3rd, on Tuesday, the 9th, on Monday, the 15th, on Saturday, the 20th, and on Sunday, the 21st January, and on Monday, the 5th February, 1917:-

From Stonecutters, in a Westerly direction.

On Friday, the 5th, on Thursday, the 25th, and on Monday, the 29th January,

1917-

From Devils Peak, in a South-Easterly direction.

On Monday, the 8th, and on Thursday, the 11th January, 1917 :--

From Pakshawan, in an Easterly direction.

On Thursdays, the 18th January, and the 1st February, 1917 :---- From Mount Davis, in a South-Westerly direction.

On Sunday, the 28th January, 1917-

From Belchers, in a North-Westerly direction.

All junks, ships and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.
