No. S. 282.--It is hereby notified that a meeting of the Licensing Board will be held in the Council Chamber at 12 Noon on Friday, the 1st day of December, 1916, for the purpose of considering the following application under the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911, viz.:--

From TOKUTARO ISHIYAMA for a Restaurant Keeper's Adjunct Licence to sell intoxicating liquors at the premises situated at No. 1 Hawfong Lane, Wanchai, under the sign "Iroha ".

It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of meals to Chinese prisoners in cells and Chinese witnesses," for one year from 1st January, 1917, will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 1st December, 1916.

No. S. 284.--It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for painting numbers on chairs and trucks and "Tender for supply of hawkers' licence-boards" respectively, for the year 1917, will be received. at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 1st December, 1916.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 285. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Trough Closet at junction of Peak and Robinson Roads and Urinal at junction of Garden and Bowen Roads", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 11th day of December, 1916, for (a) Converting Urinal at junction of Peak and Robinson Roads into a Trough Closet and (b) Constructing a Urinal at the junction of Garden and Bowen Roads.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.
