SPECIAL CONDITIONS.
1. The Purchaser of the Lot shall within three years from the date of sale reclaim the same to the satisfaction of the Land Officer in all respects and convert it into agricul- tural land cultivable after the manner of the country.
2. The Purchaser shall constuct a bund on the seaward side of the Lot to the satisfaction of the Land Officer and shall maintain the same in good order during the period for which the Lot is sold.
3. The Crown Rent mentioned in the particulars of sale is subject to re-assessment at the end of the first three years of the term for which the Lot is sold, and thereafter such rent shall be paid as shall be fairly and impartially fixed by the Land Officer as the fair and reasonable rental of the ground at the expiration of the said period of three years provided that the Rent as so re-assessed shall not exceed $3 per acre per annum.

No. S. 272. It is hereby notified that separate sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Photographing" and "Tender for Fire Brigade Clothing" respectively, will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 1st December, 1916.
(1.) For Photographing during one year, certain persons, and the supply of two
and in some cases more unmounted copies of each photograph.
(2.) For the making up and supply of Clothing for the use of the Government
Fire Brigade for one year.
The Contractor will be supplied with the Serge only from the Fire Brigade Store ; all other materials to be supplied at his own cost, and included in the prices tendered.
Any Clothing, when required, is to be delivered free of charge at the Central Fire Brigade Station, Victoria.

For forms of tender apply at the Colonial Secretary's Office, and these forms only must be used.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 273. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the purchase of Waste Food", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 2nd day of December, 1916, for the purchase of Waste Food from Victoria Gaol for one year, viz., from 1st January, 1917, to 31st December, 1917,
Waste Food consists of the Kitchen Refusé and Waste of Rice, Congee, Vegetables, Fish, &c., averaging about 200 lb. daily.

No. S. 274. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Dry Earth", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 2nd day of December, 1916, for the supply of dry earth for sanitary purposes to Victoria Gaol for the space of one year from the 1st January next.
