No. S. 269.-It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:-----
On Monday, the 20th November, and on Thursdays, the 7th and 14th December :--- From Mount Davis, in a South-Westerly direction, between the hours of 10
a.m. and 1 p.m.
On Thursday and Monday, the 23rd and 27th November, on Tuesday, the 19th
and on Thursdays, the 21st and 28th December:--
From Stonecutters, in a Westerly direction, between the hours of 10 a.m.
and 1 p.m.
On Mondays, the 4th and 18th and on Tuesday, the 12th December :-
From Pakshawan, in an Easterly direction, between the hours of 10 a.m.
and 1 p.m.
On Friday, the 15th December:-
From Devils Peak, in a South-Easterly direction, between the hours of '10
a.m. and 1 p.m.
All junks, ships and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.
No. S. 270.---It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Repairs to Steam-Launch 'G.P.O. 1'", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 24th November, 1916.
A list of work marked A and B may be obtained at the Government Marine Sur- veyor's Office, and separate tenders submitted for each.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
The work to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.

No. S. 271.-It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Office, Hongkong, at 2.30 p.m., on Tuesday, the 19th day of December, 1916.
The Lot is sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent as an Agricultural Lot subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906 and Nos. 1, 3 and 4 published in Govern- ment Notification No. 697 of 1909 and No. 5 published in Government Notification No. 278 of 1911 and to the Special Conditions hereunder specified.
