The visibility of lights is that in clear weather. Fog signals are sounded only in thick or foggy weather. The heights given are heights of focal plane above high water.

Cape St. Alban Light--Intended alteration in

character and sectors.

MARINERS and others are hereby notified that the single flashing white light with red sector will be replaced by a group flashing white light, and the existing red sector will be removed on or about 1st November, 1916.

Position.---Latitude 35° 48′ S.; Longitude 138° 71⁄2′ E.
