Chinkiang District Yangtze River.

Tienshengchiang-River Bank Protection Works.

NOTICE is hereby given that the left bank of the Yangtze River from Tiensheng- chiang towards North Tree Beacon is being protected by spur-dikes. These dikes, which are built of stone and are submerged, project from 300 to 500 feet into the river. By Order of the Inspector General of Customs,

NOTICE is hereby given that the Superintendent of Customs and the Treaty Power Consuls have agreed that after this date all vessels arriving from Japanese Ports will be treated as Suspected Vessels and will be dealt with according to the Sanitary Regula- tions for the port of Shanghai.
