OTICE is hereby given that BRITISH CIGARETTE COmpany, LIMITED, (a British China Company), of 22, Museum Road, Shang- hai, Tobacco Manufacturers, have on the 8th day of June, 1916, applied for the registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:
POSTMAN
This Trade Mark consists of a red band on a white ground, On the red band there is an oblong panel placed length- wise on the band and printed in green and white with a perforated edge like a postage stamp. and on the panel is depicted a Postman carrying letters. On the panel in each of the top cor- ners is the figure 10, and in the bottom corners the two Chinese characters YU TSAI signifying "Postman". On the left hand side of the panel appears the word "Postman" and on the right side the word "Cigarettes ".
in the name of BRITISH CIGARETTE COMPANY, LIMITED, (a British China Company), of 22, Museum Road, Shanghai, Tobacco Manufac- turers, who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.
The Trade Mark is intended to be used by the applicants forthwith in respect of the following goods :
Manufactured Tobacco, in Class 45. and is to be associated with Trade Marks Nos. 76 of 1907 and 143 of 1913.
