TRANSLATION.
Notification No. 375 of Department of Communications.
Entrance to Mororan Harbour, Hokkaido.
NOTICE is hereby given that the character, candle power and visible distance of the light of Mororan Lighthouse on Daikoku-Jima, entrance to Mororan Harbour, will be changed as follows at the beginning of June, 1916.
Mororan Lighthouse.
Character:--Acetylene gas occulting white, light 2 seconds, eclipse 2 seconds. Power:--750 Candles.
Visible distance :--173 nautical miles in clear night.
Further notice will be given after the above changes have been effected.

Corrections.
CORRECTION Plans for Marine Department Charts Nos. 1 and 2, showing recent sound- ings on the Tsungming Crossing, are now procurable free on application.
A corrected issue of Marine Department Chart No. 4, approach (see Notice to Mariners No. 620), is also procurable.

SPECIAL NOTICE TO MARINERS, No. 463.
CHINA SEA.
SHANGHAI DISTRICT-YANGTZE RIVER.
South Channel Entrance.
Survey work in progress-Special Surveying Mark-vessel.
NOTICE is hereby given that surveying work has been commenced in the South Channel Entrance to the Yangtze River between the Fairway Bell Buoy and the Kiutoan Light-vessel.
The spare Light-vessel Tienching will be moored in this vicinity as required for the survey work. Her hull will be painted white. She will only exhibit the usual riding lights of a vessel at anchor. Flags may also be placed on the floating Aids to Naviga- tion.
