A red Buoy, surmounted by a spherical day-mark, to be known as the Inner Buoy, has been moored in 18 feet of water on the northern side of the channel in the castern approach to the Inner Bar. From the Buoy, Rees Rock bears S. 43° E., distant 2 miles.

All bearings given are magnetic, and depths are those of low water of spring tides.
