No. S. 32. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly maked "Tender for supply of Summer Clothing for the Police Department", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 18th February, 1916, for the making up and supply of the undermentioned Summer Clothing for the use of the Police Department:-
(24 Suits Cotton Drill, for Inspectors, &c.
700 Suits Drabette, for Europeans and Indians. 500 Suits Drabette, for Chinese.
More or less 700 Pairs of Shoes, for Chinese.
450 Pairs of Stockings, for Chinese.
450 Pairs of Garters, for Chinese. 100 Bamboo Hats.
The Contractor will be supplied with the undermentioned Articles only from the Police Stores, all other Materials to be supplied at his own cost, and included in the prices tendered :-

-inch White Braid for Inspectors' Jackets. Calico.
No tender will be received unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $100 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person shall refuse to carry out his tender, in the event of his tender being accepted.

Samples of Uniform, and any further information, may be obtained on application at this Office.

It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Clothing, Sanitary Department", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 29th day of February, 1916, for the supply of the undermentioned clothing for the use of the Sanitary Department, for the period of ten months, from the 1st March next :-
